Established 1989 We are a non-profit organisation consisting of amateur and professional members. Membership of the Society is open to all persons interested in any aspect of Entomology. A meeting is held on even numbered months, second Tuesday, 7:00 PM, at the Australian Museum where members and friends are encouraged to share their experiences and We have a different guest speaker at each meeting which covers a wide range of entomological topics: collecting, preservation, pest management, photography, life histories, travel, etc. The meeting is followed by a light supper to allow guests to mingle. We distribute a bimonthly circular where we summarise the talk of the previous months speaker, provide details of upcoming events, advertise things of interest to entomologists and amateurs alike. Come to our General Meeting and find out if this is for you, you will be most welcome. If you like it, membership of the society is just AU$15.00 per annum.
